These days majority of Americans suffer from symptoms like weight gain, loss of libido, ringing in the ears, hair loss, brittle nails, constipation, fatigue, sensitivity to cold, headaches, insomnia, dry skin, cold hands and feet, frequent infections, dizziness, hoarse voice, and joint aches.
Nearly 65% of the American population is overweight, 27% is clinically obese. It has been scientifically shown that the underlying cause of weight issues, particularly among women, is an underactive thyroid.
Since coconut oil is saturated and very stable fat, the body is not hampered with oxidative stress. Unlike vegetable oils, it doesn’t require the enzyme stress, preventing T4 to T3 hormone conversion. Being stable oil is not the only reason for this, though. It is processed differently in the body and doesn’t need to be broken down with assistance of enzyme-dependent processes.
